Internship typeGraduation Internship
Days a week5
Internship length5 months
Bosch Transmission Technology is market leader in the development and mass production of push belts for the continuously variable transmission (CVT). The innovative automatic transmission is invented in the Netherlands and has become an international success. The department: ‘Engineering Design Dual-loopsetbelt’ is responsible for the release of product applications for the use in client vehicles. After years of testing we have gained a lot of data which is all stored in databases, and can be approached by an in-house developed Kibana system. This was step one, but this data would be worth so much more if we could look into the data via linked search terms. During your graduation internship it is your task to create these dashboards/frontpages based on a broad research among our engineers to detect their daily questions. Do you want beneficial technologies being shaped by your ideas? Whether in the areas of mobility solutions, consumer goods, industrial technology or energy and building technology – with us, you will have the chance to improve quality of life all across the globe. Welcome to Bosch.
This is what you’ll do
In creating the user friendly dashboards/frontpages you need to find out what the users need. Therefore your tasks will be:
Figuring out every question our engineers have in searching the current data, this means that you really have to understand their way of thinking/working;
Creating the requirements for the implementation process of the new dashboards/frontpages and making sure they can be rolled out;
Testing and continually improving the dashboards/frontpages based on the feedback you get from our engineers.
